Above average temperatures are still sticking around in Indiana. After setting record highs the first two days of November, we are finally seeing temperatures beginning to return to more fall like conditions. Today we reached a high of 68 degrees, which is still over ten degrees warmed than our average of 57 for this time of year. Friday will bring more normal temperatures, with a high of 58. Those rain showers from Wednesday have worked their way well east, giving way to a high pressure system that will work its way into the Ohio River Valley region tomorrow. This will give way for clear skies and fair weather overall. The weekend will see temperatures in the mid 60's, which will carry on into next week. Our next chance for rain returns on Tuesday, election day. Currently, there is a 10% chance for morning showers, so if you plan to head out to the polls early, you may want to have an umbrella at hand just in case.

MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- We tied the record for the day's high temperature set back in 1961, Wednesday. The remainder of Wednesday however will be cloudy with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Overnight lows will continue to drop back down to seasonable temperatures for early November. Thursday morning we could see a few more lingering showers in the early morning hours. Cloudy skies will start the day however, clearing skies will be prevalent throughout and into the afternoon. Thursday we will reach a high of 64 degrees and will drop down to 43 degrees in the overnight hours. The forecast headed into the weekend is looking to be great for most outdoor activities. Sunny skies and seasonable temperatures return and stick around well into next week. Friday expect highs in the lower 60's and lows to be in the lower 40's.

Happy Halloween! Highs today reached the high-50s. Spooky clear skies expected tonight with a low around 55. Record breaking temperatures come into the forecast for tomorrow and Wednesday. The high is expected to be 76 on Tuesday, where the record is 77 set back in 1999. High on Wednesday looks to be around 78, now remember on average we are normally around only 57 degrees as a high. This is very abnormal especially to start out November. Pacers play the Lakers tomorrow at 7pm at Bankers Life, expect temperatures to be in the low 70s when you arrive and the high 60s when you leave. If you are headed out to Cleveland for the World Series, expect partly cloudy skies with temperature around 70 for the first pitch. We see out next rain chance move through the area on Thursday and will most likely be in the morning hours and accumulation is anywhere between 0.06"-0.18". After this rain passes through, sunny beautidul skies for the rest of the week and into the weekend with highs in the high-50s to low-60s.

Comfortable weather is in store for us this weekend. Slightly above average temperatures will return for Saturday, as we will see a high of 77 with partly cloudy conditions. Sunday holds a 40% chance for a brief rain shower in the early afternoon, but models are showing only .02 inches of accumulation, should the showers will be brief if we get any precipitation. Cooler conditions would start to return in the ladder half of the work week, but until then, we'll see partly cloudy skies and fair weather throughout the weekend and start of the work week. This week on The Gaming Maw, an old favorite returns and we talk about a favorite mechanic of games: choice. That's right, just like real life, in video games your choices affect the final outcome.
Video games are arguably the most interactive form of media. Everything a player does affects the game, and thus the story. We talk about games from Mario to Animal Crossing to Until Dawn, and how the choices you make in-game tie into the narrative.
Make a good choice and listen to this episode!
