Tonight: We will be seeing mostly cloudy skies with some sprinkles around the area. Since we are under drier air right now, the showers in the Illinois will start to fade out as the evening hours move in. We will see a low of 42 degrees with northwest winds.

MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) We saw a high today of 33 degrees however we did see sunny and clear conditions for most part of the day for your Wednesday! Conditions over night will begin to fall as we are seeing another snow maker come into the state of Indiana. Snow showers are likely around the area by around 2:00 am Thursday morning and lasting through mid-day. Accumulations roughly will be around 1 to 2 inches of wet slushy snow. By mid to late afternoon temperatures will be forecast to be above the freezing mark so I expect a change to a rain snow mix by late in the afternoon. Highs tomorrow will be around 36. Friday looks clear and temperatures will be cool around 34 degrees. Saturday we will be seeing a small clipper coming in bringing in rain showers for your Saturday morning however high pressure will be coming in Saturday night and Sunday with temperatures in the upper 40s by Sunday. For the beginning of Spring Break we will be seeing very warm temperatures to start out the week, while rain showers may be evident by late Tuesday into Wednesday with highs in the mid 60s. We have seen cloudy, overcast skies throughout the day today and will stick through the night as well. Tonight we will see a low of 25 degrees with some areas of fog for your morning commute. For Thursday look for partly cloudy skies with highs in the lower 40's. Friday will be a gusty one with some wind gusts reaching to about 40-50 mph from the southwest which will crank up temperatures to a very above average high of 60 degrees. Your weekend looks to be a good one as well with highs in the mid 50's, with clear conditions Saturday however a small system will come through early Sunday morning bringing with is a few rain showers. Make sure you get out and enjoy your weekend! Cooler temperatures will follow for the early part of next week.

MUNCIE, IN(NewsLink Indiana)--Good Wednesday Evening! We saw our high for today early this morning at 61 degrees and have fallen all the way down to the mid 30s and temperatures will continue to fall throughout the night as we have seen through today. For Thursday we will be seeing clearing conditions by late afternoon as skies will become mostly cloudy to partly cloudy. Temperatures tomorrow will not reach over the freezing limit however no snowfall is expected. For Friday and into the weekend, expect better/warmer conditions with sunny skies for Friday turning partly sunny by late evening and into the weekend. Saturday we may see a few showers late but keeping in only a 10% chance of rain. High temperatures for the weekend will be hovering in the lower 40s for Friday-Sunday. Our next Rain/Snow maker comes in Monday with Rain showers then turning to all snow by mid afternoon. It turns brutally cold for Tuesday and Wednesday of next week with highs not even getting out of the teens.

MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) After reaching a high of 42 today across Muncie, we will see a calm stretch of weather for the next 7 days. For Friday we will be seeing temperatures reach into the upper 40s with sunny conditions. For Saturday and Sunday, look for similar weather but with warmer temperatures trying to reach 50 degrees. As we talk about your extended look, a weak weather system will come in late Sunday into Monday bringing with it clouds and as of right now, we are seeing no precipitation with this system. The rest of your work week look Sunny with highs in the upper 40s.

Muncie, IN (NewsLink Indiana) Good Friday evening! The winds have started to subside across Central Indiana due to that pesky low we dealt with earlier in the week, however that is giving way to a gorgeous fall weekend ahead. For your Saturday morning we will be seeing the coldest temperatures in our area since March of 2015 with lows reaching into the upper 20s but we are going to warm up into the lower 50s with very sunny conditions! We will not get as cold on Sunday morning however we will be seeing warmer temperatures for your Saturday afternoon with highs reaching the upper 50s. Make sure you get out and enjoy this weekend because changes are in the forecast for your work week. We are seeing another potent low com into the state Monday and stick around through Thursday. Rain totals may reach into the 2 inch mark but this is something the NewsLink team is watching very closely. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) It has been a very mild yet beautiful fall day across Ball State campus. We saw highs today reach in the lower 70s and that is about 8 degrees warmer than where we should be this time of year. Friday will bring us almost the same conditions in what we saw today however clouds will start to build in late Friday night ahead of a cold front that is set to arrive for the weekend. Rain chances will be likely through the area most of the day on Saturday starting in the early morning hours and continuing throughout the day. Highs will again reach in the lower 70s. Sunday will be a different story as that cold front has passed, we will be seeing cooler yet sunny for Sunday, with temperatures in the lower 60s. As we look into next week we will be seeing another system come down Tuesday night into Wednesday all day bringing a plentiful amount of rain. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) Good Thursday Evening! We are seeing some changes come our way to the region as a cold front is headed in our direction. Rain showers have already began to move into the area and that will be the story for the next 12 hours. Rain is expected throughout the morning on Friday but the system will start to move out by mid day giving way to a cool evening Friday night. Highs for Friday will reach in the mid 60s. For your weekend we will see clear, cool, and sunny conditions for Saturday but as we lose that northwesterly flow of winds on Sunday, opening up for warmer temperatures on Sunday. Highs Saturday cool mid 60s dropping down to mid to upper 40s. Sunday temperatures will be in the lower 70s. For those students on Fall Break Monday and Tuesday we will see some rain showers Monday afternoon and Evening however opening up for great day on Tuesday. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Good Evening and happy Thursday to you! We saw another warm sunny day across the region with highs in the lower 80's. Muncie officially saw a high of 81 today. For your overnight hours, we are going to continue to see clear skies but warmer temperatures from what we have seen. Lows will reach in the mid 50's tonight. The high pressure that has been dominating the Midwest is slowly moving out allowing way for a low pressure system that will enhance our chances of rain for the weekend . On Saturday look for scattered showers with highs in mid 70's, however not everyone will see rain. Sunday should be a little bit drier with highs also in the mid 70's.
