After taking sole possession of first place in the Mid-American Conference West Division, Ball State men's basketball prepares for its nationally televised game against Northern Illinois.
Ball State walked into the locker room at Millett Hall in Oxford, Ohio, with a sense of urgency, and that urgency lead to a 73-56 victory over Miami.

With 13:07 left on the clock against Bowling Green, the Ball State men's basketball team was down 53-40. The Cardinals then went on a 32-11 run en route to their victory.
For the third consecutive game, turnovers negatively affected the Ball State men's basketball team.

For the second straight year, Ball State took down Mid-American Conference rival Eastern Michigan after a buzzer-beating 3-pointer from sophomore guard Francis Kiapway.
It took redshirt junior guard Ryan Weber nearly 30 game minutes to miss a shot Jan. 12 in Ball State men's basketball 74-64 victory over Western Michigan.
Last season, the Ball State men's basketball team had seven wins through the first 13 games, losing the final 17 games of the season. This year, Ball State is 7-2, riding a six-game win streak and preparing for a matchup against a 5-4 Pepperdine Waves.
