MUNCIE, Ind. — On Nov. 17, Ball State University hosted its annual Study Abroad fair. Gathering together both faculty and students to interact and ask questions about all the programs students can participate in.

“Here at Ball State, we have over 200 different programs students can choose from,” said Study abroad advisor Annika Vinje. “It all just kinda depends on what the student wants out of their experience, their dream destination, as well as the academics.”

Students were able to connect with faculty members, as well as outside organizations such as  AIFS Abroad, USAC and others.

“We have a bunch of peer advisors within our office,” said Vinje. “It's our job to help students find their best fit within this program, whether that is an academic focus that they want or a specific country. We are here to help.”

The fair featured various booths showcasing all the current study abroad programs as well as future trips. An example of one of the many open opportunities would be The BSU in Thessaloniki, Greece, in the fall of 2026. The program allows students to study in the second largest city in Greece, at the Perrotis College campus.

At the fair, there were on-site sign-ups where students wrote down their contact information, allowing a study abroad advisor to set them up with an application.

“If you weren't able to make it, there is always our lovely website that features all the information you need to get you started,” said Vinje.

Ball State Study Abroad offers programs all over the globe in six of the seven continents. If you are interested in studying abroad, you do not have to go at it alone. Students are advised to book an exploratory appointment at the Rinker Center. If you are unable to go in person, students can browse the various programs Ball State offers here.
