MUNCIE, Ind. – Kat Stephens-Pac and Robin Phelps-Ward recently opened up their own art studio in Downtown Muncie, located in the Art Of The Murray Building, suite 206.
They host in-person events for the community, as well as online events for everyone in the world to join. These events are to share your thoughts and freely explore your artistic ability. These women founders wanted to create a space where art feels accessible to all.
“All art doesn't have to be beautiful; it's about expressing yourself, about bringing your experiences to the page, or to life,” Phelps-Ward stated.
These artists spend all of their free time in the studio working on art that is meaningful to them. Expressing who they are, while supporting other local creators who want to do the same.
“I think creativity is the life force of building a community,” Phelps-Ward explained.
Hue House hosts a multitude of events, including Yappy Hour, which is held over Zoom where anyone can join and discuss the topic of the month.
Open Press Night and Create and Chat are in-person events that bring the community together to explore their artistic abilities and get to know one another.
More events will be coming soon, like their fall open house launching in October. You can stay updated by following Hue House on Facebook to see artwork and local events coming up.
