A cloudy and cool evening ahead, with temperatures lowering into the mid-50s under mostly cloudy skies. Fog is expected to develop early tomorrow morning, and a Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for the region from 5am to 10am EDT Friday morning. If you're headed out early, be sure to take it slow and be cautious in low visibility areas.
After the fog burns off early, a partly cloudy day is expected, with temperatures rising into the mid-70s before clearing and more abundant sunshine moves into the region by the late afternoon.
As we head into October, it will feel like anything but fall, with a significant warm-up expected into next week, with highs reaching into the middle 80s. The pattern remains clear and sunny, with temperatures well above normal late into the week.
