The Princess of Wales Kate Middleton announced Friday she will be undergoing chemotherapy to treat cancer, according to the Associated Press.
Her announcement comes after weeks of social media speculation about her whereabouts and health since her hospitalization in January for unspecified abdominal surgery. Kate had not been seen publicly since Christmas before her and Prince William were seen walking from a farm shop near their Windsor home.
The news also comes after the royal family announced that King Charles III was being treated for an unspecified type of cancer.
