MUNCIE, Ind. -- Ball State Field Hockey looks to end their season on a high note with two straight wins this weekend.

The Cardinals are 7-9 on the season so far with a big win over Indiana University plus a 7-0 victory in their last match-up over Queens University of Charlotte.

As the season looks to come to an end for the Cardinals, who are officially out of postseason contention, graduate students Kerrianne McClay and Libby Kraus look to finish strong while on the road.

“I think we definitely want to just end on a win streak, with two very winnable, hopefully end and fly the flag against Michigan State with a storybook ending for my career," McClay said.

“This season has been very crazy and interesting. I think we have grown a lot since I've been here as a freshman in my five years. If you would have told me we would have beaten IU or beating teams 7-0, I would have told you are crazy but I'm really proud how far this team has come. I’m excited to see where they will go," Kraus said.

Ball State Field Hockey will conclude their season this weekend with two important matches. They will face Miami of Ohio on Friday at 3:00 PM and Michigan State on Sunday at 1.
