The Cardinals falls to Texas Tech

Ball State traveled to Lubbock, Texas to take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders in their third game of the season. 

The Cardinals fell 4-1, moving to 1-2-0 on the season. Ball State kept it a 1-1 draw with the first 45 minutes of play but saw three goals go past in the final half. 

Sophomore Delany Caldwell added the only goal for Ball State in the 36th minute, also securing her first goal of the season.  

Junior goalie Bethany Moser recorded four of her six saves in the opening half. 

Ball State will have a little more than a week off until they are back in action on Sept. 3 at Loyola Chicago at 2 p.m.
