Griffith finishes fifth place in the high jump at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships; qualifies for First Team All-American

At the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon, June 11, Ball State Track & Field junior Charity Griffith placed fifth in the Women’s high jump. This placement ensures Griffith is a First Team All-American. 

On her first jump, Griffith cleared 1.72 meters (m) and on her second, she cleared 1.77m. In her third jump, Griffith cleared 1.80m and in her final jump, she cleared 1.83m. 

Griffith’s fifth-place finish is the third highest in program history and the highest by a Cardinal since 1999.
