A cool start to fall with rain chances

Tonight: Showers will continue and temperatures will drop to the lower 50s. Winds will increase throughout the night and could possibly reach gusts of 20 mph.

Tomorrow: Tomorrow is the first day of Fall, and temperatures reflect this. The high will only reach 57 degrees and heavy rain will be off and on throughout the day, becoming more widespread in the evening hours. Comparing temperatures from today and tomorrow, we can see a huge difference. Today we reached a high of 79 degrees, but tomorrow we will only see a high of 57 degrees!

7-Day Forecast: We will take a dip into cooler temperatures tomorrow with a high of 57 degrees. Moving in with this cold front is excessive rainfall. This rain will give us totals of almost three inches here in Muncie. Surrounding areas will also receive large amounts as well. Be aware for flooded roads and flooding in areas. Moving into the end of the week, rain chances move out of the area. Temperatures return to the upper 70s and sunny skies return.
