Ball State alumna to speak about her fitness journey on ‘The Dr. Oz Show’

Rachael Heffner, a 2014 Ball State graduate, will talk about health, wellness and her career as a bodybuilder at 2 p.m. Nov. 11 on ‘The Dr. Oz Show.’

During the 10-minute segment, Heffner will describe her transformation from weighing 300 pounds during her freshman year at Ball State to now competing in bodybuilding shows. 

Currently, Heffner lives in Indianapolis where she works at ARC Fitness as the gym’s director of operations. She is also preparing for bodybuilding competition in Miami Nov. 22-23, and if she places in the top two at the competition, she will become an International Federation of BodyBuilders (IFBB) Pro in Women's Physique.
