Ball State women's basketball's all-time assists leader Carmen Grande is leaving the program, Ryan O'Gara of The Star Press reports.
Grande dished out 697 assists over three seasons with the Cardinals, averaging 9.2 dimes per game this past season, which was good for top 10 in the country in 2017-18.
Grande also led Ball State in minutes played per game as a junior as the Cardinals went 25-7 and 11-0 in non-conference play en route to a WNIT bid.
Ball State head coach Brady Sallee did confirm that Grande would not be returning this next season to The Star Press, stating, "I’m really excited about the young ladies that we’re moving forward with."
The Madrid, Spain native was the leader of the Cardinals' offense, and with her and Moriah Monaco leaving, Ball State loses a majority of its scoring from a season ago.
