Ball State (1-1) had five different players drive in runs in its 10-2 rout of LIU-Brooklyn (0-2) on Friday evening to earn its first victory in 2018.

Sophomore left fielder Haley Dominique drove in half of Ball State's runs on the day, recording a career-best five RBIs in the process.

Seniors Carolyn Wilmes and Alyssa Rothwell held things down inside the circle for the Cardinals, as Wilmes was credited with the victory.

LIU-Brooklyn only managed two hits in the game, and both of its runs came in the fourth inning. Ball State senior right fielder Cadie O'Donnell also recorded two hits and an RBI for the Cards.

Next up, Ball State plays North Carolina State on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The game is in Fort Myers, Florida.
