As I continue to journey into the world of makeup, one thing I have noticed was the excessive cost of makeup. This realization motivated me to find the best makeup in all categories for my limited budget. With that, I give you my list of some of the best cheaper options for the face, without sacrificing quality.

PrimerAll the Elf primers, $6: Elf has some hits and misses but their primers really take the cake. There are about 10 different primers for every skin type out there.

FoundationMaybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless, $7.99: This foundation has the consistency of a high-end foundation with a huge selection of colors for all skin tones. It is not totally matte like it claims but gives a perfect satin finish for those who are more on the oily side. It's not too drying and gives a gorgeous finish.

ConcealerNYX Hi Definition Photo Concealer Wand, $4.99: On top of there being 22 different colors, it covers all of my dark circles and highlights perfectly. The price is on point and even though it dries out a little quick, it is worth every penny. It’s got a thicker formula that makes the coverage great.

Setting powderNYC Smooth Skin Loose Face Powder in Translucent, $2.77: It does what it says it does, it gives me smooth skin and is a very soft powder. It is perfect for baking the face, the only downside is that it is very messy but you trade up for the price.

BronzerPhysicians Formula Butter Bronzer, $14.99: It is on the higher end of drugstore makeup but the quality is to die for. The formula is very creamy and the color is perfect for warming up the face. It isn’t too orange or red and has the most natural looking sun-kissed glow. It is better than any high-end bronzer I’ve tried.

BlushMilani Blush Baked Powder in Luminoso, $7.49: The formula is smooth and the color looks good on everyone. It has a sheen to it to give a healthy glow and is comparable to the cult classic Orgasm by Nars.

HighlighterMakeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighters, $6: With a few swipes on the top of the cheeks, you will be blinding. You can go subtle or build up, it comes in three gorgeous colors and it is brighter than most high-end brands.

Setting sprayElf Makeup Mist and Set, $3: There are three different types: Matte, regular and illuminating. All very good for the price, my makeup stays in place all day and it's refreshing on the face.
