Jesse McCartney will be performing on campus at 7:30 p.m. April 18, John R. Emens Auditorium announced this morning.

The “Beautiful Soul” singer will also be offering a meet and greet the night of the performance, according to a press release.

McCartney has made a name for himself in the entertainment world both with music and acting. He’s starred in several stage plays, as well as the television shows "Summerland," "All My Children" and "Greek."

In addition to acting and singing, McCartney has had a hand in popular hits as a songwriter, such as “Bleeding Love,” which went No. 1 in 34 countries and was nominated for a Grammy.

Tickets for McCartney’s performance on campus will be available for presale for students only at 7 a.m. Feb. 17. Lining up at Emens before 6 a.m. is not permitted, and a lottery will be used to determine how tickets will be distributed.

For the lottery, numbers will be distributed between 6 and 6:30 a.m., then a number will be randomly drawn and students will line up in order after that number to receive tickets.

Tickets will be on sale for the general public at 10 a.m. Feb. 20.

VIP meet and greet passes will be available for purchase separately from the event ticket. Meet and greet includes the opportunity to take a photo with the singer.

Tickets are available at the Emens Box Office, Ticketmaster and over the phone (815-745-3000). Tickets will only be discounted at the Emens Box Office with a Ball State student ID.
