Track and field splits roster for 2 weekend invitationals

The Ball State track and field team will be splitting into two groups April 30.

One group will travel to Oxford, Ohio, for the RedHawk Invitational hosted by Miami University. The other group will be traveling to Athens, Georgia, for the Georgia Invitational.

The group traveling to the RedHawk Invitational will have the field events start first at 10 a.m. with the men’s hammer followed by the women. The running events of the day will start at 10:30 a.m.

The field events are expected to end at approximately 2 p.m., while the running events are to end at approximately 3:45 p.m.

In Georgia, the track events will start off with the women’s 5,000m run at 9:30 a.m. The field events will start with the women’s hammer throw at 10 a.m.

The field events are expected to end at approximately 3 p.m. with the track events aiming to conclude at 4 p.m.
