Sophomore named to All-Mideast Region First Team

Rindfleisch batted .310 this season while being named to the All-Mid-American Conference Second Team.

“This is a great honor to be recognized among the best players in our region,” head coach Rich Maloney said in a statement. “Jarett continues to progress into a prospect catcher.”

Rindfleisch also led Ball State in home runs with 10 and 47 runs batted in. The Cardinals made it to the MAC Tournament championship game before falling to Ohio.

He is now eligible for the ABCA/Rawlings All-America Teams, voted on by members of the ABCA.
