Former Ball State wide receiver Willie Snead has signed with the Carolina Panthers practice squad.
After forgoing his senior season at Ball State, Snead went undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft, before signing with the Cleveland Browns prior to the preseason. He was cut from the Browns during the team’s final roster cuts, and then he had a tryout with the New York Giants.
His junior year at Ball State, Snead set school records in receiving yards with 1,516, receptions with 106 and touchdowns with 15.
