The Ball State men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams were honored by being named to the 2014 Spring Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.
The women’s team finished the Spring Semester with a team GPA of 3.53, good enough for 13th in the nation. The men’s team had a 3.19 GPA and finished 33rd in the nation.
Ball State also led the Mid-American Conference in GPA on the women’s side, while the men finished fourth.
The award is given once per semester and is given to college and university swimming and diving teams with a collective GPA of 3.0 or greater.
