For the second season in a row, Ball State wide receiver Jordan Williams has been named to the Biletnikoff Award Pre-season Watch List.
Williams was the only Ball State player named to the list, released earlier today.
The award is given at the end of the college football season to the most outstanding receiver in the nation.
There have been 18 winners of the Biletnikoff Award since its creation by the Tallahassee Quarterback Foundation Club in 1994. Texas Tech’s Michael Crabtree and Oklahoma State’s Justin Blackmon are the only two-time recipients of the award.
As a sophomore last season, Williams played in 13 games, catching 72 passes for 1,050 yards and 10 touchdowns.
