The Ball State women’s basketball team shot 58.7 percent from the floor in a win over Ohio Saturday.

Nathalie Fontaine led the team with 20 points, shooting 8-for-11. The Cardinals finished the game with four players in double-digit scoring.

Ball State shot just 1-for-14 from three-point range in its most recent game: a 61-72 loss to Bowling Green Wednesday.

The Cardinals sunk 13-of-18 against Ohio to secure their third Mid-American Conference victory of the season.

Freshman Jill Morrison finished the game 5-of-6 from deep and 6-of-8 from the floor.

Ohio hit just 7-of-31 three-point field goals as a team while it shot just 37.7 percent from the floor.

Ball State held an edge in total rebounds and assists. The
Cardinals committed 21 turnovers while Ohio committed just 20.
