Jan. 27, 2014 – The Daily News reported Monday that a Ball State university safety specialist’s name is Timothy Kurby. This is incorrect; his name is Timothy Kirby. We regret this mistake.

Nov. 19, 2013 – In the story “Dick’s Sporting Goods, Panda Express, Culver’s to open in Muncie” The Daily News should have reported that Dick’s Sporting Goods would be joining a multi-million dollar development in the 600 block of E McGalliard Road.

Nov. 18, 2013 – The Daily News reported Monday that three people were killed in Indiana from Sunday’s storms. This is incorrect; no one died in Indiana because of tornadoes. We regret this mistake.

Aug. 21, 2013 – Puerto Vallarta has three restaurants in addition to its food truck, not two, as The Daily News printed in the story “Puerta’s on the move”. We regret this mistake.

Aug. 20, 2013 – The Daily News printed and posted online a story stating that Dill Street Bar & Grill had reopened. The bar had not reopened and has yet to announce when it will. We regret this mistake.
