BSU Women's golf tied for second in Mid-American tournament

After day one of the Mid-American Conference Preview tournament, the Ball State women’s golf team is in a tie for second, just one stroke behind the leader.

After the first round, Ball State is tied with Bowling Green at 315. Akron leads the tournament with a 314 mark. The rest of the field sits more than five strokes behind the Cardinals. 

Ball State junior Meghan Perry finished Monday tied for fifth at a five-over-par 77. Following Perry for the Cardinals is Zoe Camus with a six-over-par 78. 

In addition, sophomore Jenna Hague and senior Autumn Duke are both posted an 80 and tied for 19th. Junior Sarah Westaway comes in at 49th with an 84. Freshman Karley Dobis, who’s competing as an individual, is tied with her fellow teammates Duke and Hague with an 80.

The Cardinals will play 18 more holes today to conclude the MAC Preview.
