Ball State's men's golf team finished the second round of the Mid-American Conference tournament tied for sixth place overall.
The Cardinals will head into the third round Saturday with a score of 607 (+31) overall tied with Northern Illinois. The third round begins at 8:50 a.m. for Ball State.
Junior Joe Gasser led Ball State with a score of 149 (+5) in the first two rounds and is individually tied for 14th overall.
Junior Brodie Williams is only one stroke behind with a score of 150 (+6) in 17th place so far in the MAC tournament.
The third round will be completed Saturday with the final round to be finished on Sunday.
