WOMEN'S TENNIS: MAC play continues with NIU match

Ball State still looking to end its lengthy losing streak

Currently sitting on a seven-game losing streak, the Ball State women's tennis team will take on Northern Illinois on Saturday.

The Huskies last won a 4-3 match against Toledo, and are 10-8 on the season, 1-3 in Mid-American Conference play.

Although Northern Illinois won the match, No. 1 singles player Sara McLaughlin was swept by Toledo, 6-0, 6-0.

In Fall play, freshman Courtney Wild beat McLaughlin 6-3, 6-2.

A win against the Huskies would put the Cardinals at 6-13 overall on the season, and it would give them their first MAC win of 2012.

The match will begin at 1 p.m.
