GYMNASTICS: Cardinals lose both meets over the weekend

Nicole Allen performs well in multiple events in two meets

Even with victories by junior Nicole Allen in the all-around competition both Friday and Sunday, the Ball State gymnastics team wasn't able to secure wins in its two meets this weekend.

Ball State fell to Michigan State on Friday with a score of 195.025 to 193.300 and to Western Michigan on Sunday by a wider margin of 194.225 to 191.600.

The Cardinals did not win any rotations as a team this weekend, despite having nine gymnasts place in the top three events.

On the floor, Allen tied for second with sophomore Aftyn Siemer with a 9.800, as well as Michigan State opponents Alyssa Brennan and Ashley Noll.

On vault, Allen took third with a score of 9.875.
