FOOTBALL: Ball State offensive line coach to take job at Penn State

Offensive line coach John Strollo has accepted a job on the staff of new Penn State coach Bill O'Brien and will not return to Ball State for the 2012 season. Pete Lembo confirmed the news in his newsletter to Ball State supporters, congratulating Strollo on the move.

Strollo joined the Ball State coaching staff last winter, when he was one of three coaches to follow Lembo from Elon to Muncie.

Strollo and O'Brien previously coached together at Duke from 2005-2006. O'Brien was the Blue Devils offensive coordinator and Strollo was the tight ends coach in 2005 and offensive line coach in 2006. While Strollo's exact job on the Penn State staff is unknown, multiple media outlets are reporting he will be the tight ends coach.
