WOMEN'S GOLF: Ball State tied for first in home invitational

Meghan Perry and Autumn Duke lead the Cardinals with scores of 74

The Ball State women's golf team is tied for first place with a first round score of 301 in the Cardinal Classic after one round of play Saturday. 

Ball State is hosting the tournament at the Players Club of Woodland Trails in Yorktown, IN. 

The Cardinals are tied with Southern Illinois on top the leaderboard with Indiana State in third at 308.

Sophomore Meghan Perry and junior Autumn Duke led the team with scores of 74. They are tied for second individually.

Freshman Jenna Hague, who finished third last week as an individual, posted a 75. She is tied for fourth.

Senior Katie Windlan posted a 78, tied for 17th, while freshman Jamie Caylor scored an 83, tied for 41st.

Junior Chantelle Hefer leads the individuals with a 73. Other individuals for the Cardinals included sophomore Sarah Westway, who carded a 77 and freshman Ashtyn Brown, who posted an 84.

The final round of the Cardinal Classic will begin tomorrow at 9 a.m.
