Ball State men's basketball has lost a recruit from the 2012 recruiting class.
C.J. Jones, a point guard from Orr High School in Chicago, has decommitted from the Cardinals and is back on the recruiting board. He had been committed to the Cardinals since December 2010.
Jones has received interest from fellow Mid-American Conference school Central Michigan and Missouri Valley Conference school Southern Illinois.
He becomes the second point guard in his recruiting class from Illinois to decommit. Michael Orris from Crete-Monee High School in Crete, Ill. decommitted from Creighton in June.
