FOOTBALL: Ball State announces times, television schedule for games

Cardinals will play at least three games on ESPN3

Ball State University announced its football game times and television schedule for the 2011 season.

On Wednesday, the Cardinals set game times for all of their games except two non-conference games against South Florida and Oklahoma and Mid-American Conference games against Western Michigan and Toledo.

The season-opener against Indiana on Sept. 3, the game against Army on Sept. 24 and the road game against Ohio on Oct. 15 will air on ESPN3. The road game against Eastern Michigan will be on ESPN Plus.

The team also has the possibility of having two games air on ESPNU, the road game against Northern Illinois on Nov. 15 and the regular season finale against Toledo the following week on Nov. 25.

The Cardinals first game of the season against the Hoosiers at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis will be at 7 p.m. The Army game on Family Weekend will be at 2 p.m.

The Homecoming game against Temple on Oct. 8 will also be at 2 p.m.
