WOMEN'S GOLF: Kelly wins Student of the Year award

Senior owns a 3.643 GPA

Brittany Kelly, a senior member of the Ball State women's golf team, has been selected as the Ball State Sports Administration Female Student of the Year.

The award is selected by the sports administration faculty and recognizes one male and one female student each year. Kelly owns a 3.643 grade point average.

In addition to strong academic performances, Kelly has been leading the Cardinals on the course with seven top-10 finishes and eight top-20 finishes this season.

She has been honored with the MAC Golfer of the Week Award twice in her senior year. She was the top Mid-American Conference individual at the Arkansas-Little Rock Women's Golf Classic and tied for second at the Rio Verde Invitational.

Kelly looks to lead the Cardinals at the MAC Championships April 22-24 at Longaberger Golf Course in Nashport, Ohio.
