Despite less than ideal weather conditions, Ball State earned six top-ten finishes in the Polytan Invitational Saturday.
Rebecca Lomax finished with a third place ranking in high jump. The jump was Lomax's highest of the season at 1.67-meters.
She also placed third on the 4x100-meter relay team with Judah Smith, Thekla Lorenz and Janae Taylor.
Melissa Dodaro also had a season best day, placing fourth in the discus event.
The Ball State 4x400 relay team placed sixth overall. The team included Hannah Lange, Taylor, Lorenz and Smith.
Taylor also placed eighth individually in the 100-meter dash.
Christine Talhelm placed ninth for the Cardinals, running the 800-meter dash in 2:12.60.
The Cardinals travel to IUPUI for the Stan Lyons Invitational next Saturday.
