WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Ball State to host MAC leader Toledo

Team looking to end five-game skid against Rockets

Currently on a five-game losing streak, Ball State hosts Mid-American Conference leader Toledo Saturday afternoon.

The Cardinals are looking for their first win since Jan. 26 against Miami. In that stretch, Ball State went from a 4-3 MAC record to 4-8, last in the West.

Toledo enters the game on a seven-game winning streak, five of the wins by double-digits.

The Rockets currently have an overall record of 19-6 and 11-1 in the MAC.

In the first match up at Toledo, the Rockets came away with a 63-46 win against the Cardinals. Senior Emily Maggert finished the game with 18 points and six rebounds.

Toledo's Melissa Goodall and Naama Shafir both scored 14 points in the win.

A win for the Cardinals would give coach Kelly Packard her 50th career win.
