WOMEN'S TENNIS: Ball State swept by in-state opponent Indiana University

The Ball State women's tennis team was swept 7-0 by the Hoosiers in Bloomington, Ind. on Sunday afternoon.

Though the Hoosiers swept the Cardinals, there were bright spots in Ball State's game.

Freshman Kristel Sanders showed potential as she took her opponent Myriam Sopel to a tiebreaker before dropping both sets 7-6, 6-2.

Indiana dominated every part of the match Sunday winning the doubles point by defeating all three teams Ball State had put together.

Indiana continued their dominance by once again sweeping the Cardinals in every singles match, earning six points.

After dropping their season opening match at Wright State the Cardinals are still in search of their first win on the season.
