Billy Taylor added another member to his 2010 recruiting class Monday, announcing the commitment of forward Jay Copeland to Ball State University.
Copeland played at King's Fork High School in Suffolk, Va., where he won a state championship as a junior.
Last year, the 6-foot-7 Copeland averaged 13 points and 11 rebounds per game.
Copeland joins forward Matt Kamieniecki and point guard Marvin Jordon in the Cardinals' recruiting class. Taylor still has multiple scholarships at his disposal to add more players before the spring signing period ends May 19.
