MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- This past weekend we experienced some decent weather for this time of year, except for Sunday, when there were cloudy skies throughout the area and a bit of light rain in the evening. The weather is going to be similar throughout the beginning part of our week as well. The clouds are going to hang around in the morning on Monday, but eventually giving way to partly sunny skies. However, early Tuesday we will see clouds quickly build into our area ahead of a system moving in from the Rockies. This system has been dumping snow in the Colorado region, but combined with the warm temperatures in our area, will leave us with rain on Tuesday and a marginal chance for severe thunderstorms according to the Storm Prediction Center. This means on Tuesday we can expect rain and possibly damaging winds/wind gusts. Wednesday the temperature will drop throughout the day, giving us the chance for a mix of wintry precipitation later in the afternoon and into the evening hours, but that chance is light. Your work week wraps up with partly to mostly sunny skies for your Thursday and Friday, and for the weekend as well. For more weather updates, make sure to follow us on Twitter @NLIWeather.
MUNCIE, IN (WCRD News) -- With the news of former Ball State President Paul Ferguson's sudden resignation only a few days old, many students took it upon themselves to attend today's Board of Trustees meeting in hopes of learning more about why Ferguson stepped down less than two years into a five year contract. To the frustration of many in attendance, today's meeting did not provide them with much new information. While the meeting did not yield the results many students were hoping for, it did provide them with a venue to make their frustrations known to the Board. WCRD News was there to cover the event and compiled the meeting and interviews with both the board and students into the following special report.
