Interim Dean Roy Weaver recently appointed Sheryl Stump to serve as interim associate dean of Teachers College.
Stump served as chair of the Department of Mathematics Sciences and was the chair of the College of Sciences and Humanities Promotion and Tenure Committee.
Before accepting her position as the new interim associate dean, Stump came from a long history of academic work in mathematics education, according to campus-wide email. She has developed and taught undergraduate and graduate-level mathematics content and pedagogy courses for elementary, middle school, high school, and community college teachers.
Stump is currently the president of the Hoosier Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators and editor of the Indiana Mathematics Teacher.
