Academic All-MAC Winners

Five members of the Ball State men's tennis team were named to the 2017 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team.

Senior Lucas Anderson won the award for the third time while it was senior Andrew Stutz' second honor and the first for sophomores Conner Anderson, Marko Guzina and Nemanja Guzina.

This award adds onto Lucas Anderson's already impressive collection. His 3.821 GPA in Biology earned him his third-straight All-MAC award, but his play on the court won him back-to-back MAC Player of the Year honors, becoming the first Ball State player to do so.

Stutz, who earned the award for a second time, has a 3.981 GPA and is majoring in political science. He also won the Jack Vredevelt Sportsmanship Award – an award presented to a senior in the conference who has displayed outstanding sportsmanship.

Sophomores Conner Anderson (accounting), Marko Guzina (business) and Nemanja Guzina  (business) were equally impressive in the classroom earning 3.955, 3.902 and 3.681 GPA's, respectively. Marko Guzina was also voted to the MAC All-Tournament Team.
