Ball State University has displayed two completely different teams in Mid-American Conference play this season.

When the offense isn't hitting its shots, the Cardinals have lost.

When the offense is clicking better, the Cardinals are into every game.

After a 4-2 tour of the MAC East Division, Ball State (12-11, 6-5 MAC) continues play against the MAC West Division today as it travels to Northern Illinois University (8-15, 4-7 MAC), losers of seven straight since beginning MAC play 4-0.

The Huskies defeated the Cardinals 62-48 Jan. 9 in the first showdown of the season. But both teams have showed up as noticably different teams since.
