Former Ball State Football player Timothy Brown dies at 82

Timothy Brown, a former Ball State Football player, who played in the NFL for a number of years and spent some time as a professional actor and musician, has died at 82 according to a press release from the Philadelphia Eagles.

Ball State mourns death of marketing professor

George Gannage, assistant teaching professor of marketing and assistant director of the Center for Professional Selling in the Miller College of Business, died Monday morning in Bloomington, Indiana, after suffering from a severe respiratory virus, according to an email sent out by Susana Rivera-Mills, provost and executive vice president at Ball State.

Ball State, Muncie libraries to document everyday life during COVID-19 pandemic

All Indiana K-12 schools to provide remote learning for remaining school year

Gov. Eric Holcomb today signed an executive order requiring all K-12 schools in Indiana to provide instruction via remote learning for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year, according to a press release from the governor's office.

Ball State School of Music to host virtual concert series

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, several Ball State organizations have had to cancel their in-person events for the rest of the semester, including the Ball State School of Music’s public performances. Now, the School of Music will rebroadcast past concerts from 2017, 2018 and 2019 with its new “Virtual Concert Series.” These rebroadcasts will take place 7:30 p.m Mondays-Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays on the School of Music’s webcast page.
