Marty McFly’s favorite 8-Bit game, Wild Gunman, is now available on the most recent iteration of Nintendo consoles. It was announced on October 21 as a European release, and the game is now on Nintendo’s e-store for the WiiU. Rather than play with the traditional Nintendo Zapper controller, users can play it with the standard Wii motion sensor. No news about its release in North America have surfaced from Nintendo of America.
Wild Gunman was popularized in an iconic scene in which McFly is in a retro 80’s diner (in the future) and picks up the game after two kids miraculously got it to work. In this scene, one of the children humorously comments, “You have to use your hands? That’s like a baby’s toy!”
Nintendo re-released the game as an obvious homage to the 80’s movie franchise. Yesterday was known as ‘Back to the Future day’ in recognition of the fact that Marty McFly traveled to October 21, 2015 in the second film. The movie made several predictions about the future, including a larger-than-life hologram of Jaws 19, as well as hoverboards, self-lacing shoes, and, apparently, hands-free gaming.

The Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists recently announced that their vote for a strike in video game voice acting has been met with a "resounding success." They needed a vote of at least 75% to pass the strike and officially commence an organization-wide hiatus on work in the industry. They got a 96.52% positive vote in favor of the strike, highly increasing its possibility of happening in the near future. After the Interactive Media Agreement Expired in December of last year, tense negotiations occurred between the representatives of the voice actors and the corporations who pay them. Blood was boiling on both sides, with neither party reaching an agreement during either of the sessions held in February and June of 2015. Until recently, the voice acting community postponed holding a strike. Because of this vote, the future of the strike looks progressive.
Standing by fellow actors and friends. #PerformanceMatters. If you'd like actors who work on videogames to be treated well, you should too.

"Yes, I’m still working on a computer game; I already did the first part, now we’re working on the second one, and it will take roughly two years," she said.
The most recent entry in the long-running first-person-shooter series was released in May 2014 and focused on Captain William “B.J.” Blazkowicz's grim adventures.
