Sept. 19-20, Ball State women’s golf placed fifth out of 12 teams, shooting 894 at the Brittany Kelly Cardinal Classic. Junior Kiah Parrott shot 9-under-par (207) for the tournament, beating the school record by seven strokes [previously 214].
Sept. 19-20, Ball State men's golf traveled to Cincinnati for the Bearcat Invite. The Cardinals finished 6th out of 13 teams shooting 861.
After spending the last 11 seasons coaching at Taylor University, Cameron Andry was named the new head coach of women’s golf at Ball State in July.

The Ball State men's golf team traveled to the Streamsong Invitational in Bowling Green, Florida Sept. 12-13 as the Cardinals placed 11th out of the 13 teams at the invite with a total score of 868, Virginia won with a score of 808.
Sept. 11-12, The Ball State women's golf team opened up its season at the Redbird Invitational in Normal, Illinois. The Cardinals placed 10th out of 15 teams with junior Kiah Parrott tying for eighth individually.
Ball State (0-2, 0-1 MAC) lost in its home opener at Scheumann Stadium 30-37 to Western Michigan (1-1, 1-0 MAC) Sept. 10 in what was not only its first home game of the 2022 season but its first Mid-American Conference (MAC) opponent.

Ball State men’s golf team placed second out of 15 teams in the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational Sept. 2-3 with a score of 19-over-par [859] for two combined days, trailing Wright State by 13 strokes [846].
August 31, the Ball State Student Government Association (SGA) held its first meeting in the ballroom of the L.A. Pittenger Student Center. Seven positions were voted in, five of which were voted into the cabinet and two others were promoted to Parliamentarian and Chief of Staff.
August 25, representatives from the Coalition of Women’s Organization awarded six recipients the Vivian V. Conley Award in Muncie City Hall. The awardees are as follows: Bria Zolman, Courtney Jarrett, Janet Stratton, LaTasha Mardis, Suzanne Clem and Krista Garrett.
As students return to Ball State’s campus, art at the Ned and Gloria Griner Art Gallery in the new exhibit, “Beginnings,” showing art from 2021 freshman students in the School of Art, welcomes them.
