We will continue to see temperatures rise due to the High Pressure system sitting above us. We have a chance of showers and thunderstorms on Saturday with a high temperature of only 75 degrees. But after that, temperatures look like they will start to rise again into the upper 70s.

As the high pressure system moves out of our region a cold front will bring rain chances for Friday evening and Saturday. For today it will be sunny with a high in the low 80s. Tonight with clear skies the temperature will drop into the low 50s. For tomorrow the high will be around 82°F and the low around 56°F. As the storms move through on Friday and Saturday the skies will become mostly cloudy on Sunday and into Monday. Expect cooler temperatures at the beginning of next week.

If you are going to make the trip with the team, the weather for your game day could not look to be more perfect. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- As we head into the second week of the semester, the Ball State Football Team is heading toward their home opener this Thursday night at 7 o'clock. While we will all be rooting for the Cardinals, we may also have to dodge a few pop-up rain showers and storms Thursday afternoon and evening. Temps will be in the mid to upper-80s on Thursday, combining with rather high dew points, to create the perfect mix of humid conditions that pop-up storms love to form in over Indiana. Blood banks in Indiana have been suffering from a state-wide blood shortage. The Indiana Blood Center has urged Hoosiers to donate blood or volunteer at blood drives across the state. One group hopes to help combat against the short supply.
