MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- After the brief cold spell, that meant miserable conditions for the Ball State Homecoming, the weather this week has been much nicer. Partly cloudy skies will return for Wednesday, but only after we burn off some fog set to move in Tuesday night into early Wednesday. Temps on Wednesday will warm into the mid-70s, helping to easily burn off the morning fog. Temps will then rise into the upper-70s for Thursday, under mostly sunny skies to start the day. Clouds will then begin to build into the region later in the evening hours of Thursday, ahead of our next chance for rain. Rain showers, and some thunderstorms, will move in late Thursday night into early Friday. These will linger around the region for the morning commute Friday, but should be gone by Friday evening. This system will also leave an impact on our temperatures, with highs for Friday and Saturday only making it into the mid-60s. The sun, which will return on Saturday, will then help temperatures recover for the rest of our Fall Break weekend, as we see the mid to upper-70s again by Monday. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- This past week we have experienced more fall like temperatures with daily highs only making it to the low to middle 60s. This is thanks to cold, Canadian air that moved into our area. Over the weekend we will see most cloudy skies, there is about a 40% chance of rain in Muncie late in the afternoon, this is due to hurricane Joaquin moving north along the east coast of the United States and pushing all of the precipitation currently located there towards our area. So if you are headed out to the Ball State homecoming football game, make sure you keep an eye toward the sky. After Saturday we will see high temperatures closer to average. With the start of our work week we will see highs in the 70s with partly sunny skies and we may even hit 75 degrees by Thursday.

MUNCIE ,IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- The past few days have made it seem like fall weather is here! That assumption is half way correct. While it is fall, and the temperatures are falling into the 60s, they will climb back up to the 70s for a few days. They will start to rise after Saturday, which we we will have a high of 53 degrees. Also the wind gusts in Muncie today will also carry into the next few days. Then the temperatures will get back into the 70s on Monday. The clouds will also stick around until Monday as well, creating a weary over cast in the Muncie area. But looking at the 7 day forecast, there is no chance of rain showers at all. So I highly suggest that you get outside and enjoy these perfect fall temperatures.
