As is a postgame standard at Worthen Arena, a head coach and two players sit behind a folding table with a black placemat over it, four Aquafina water bottles placed in front of them and a Ball State University Athletics banner behind them during the Cardinals’ press conference.
In the highly built-up final Ball State Women’s Basketball home game against Toledo, there were a lot of things to look for in a key matchup. There was a close first half, foul trouble throughout, aggressive plays, a comeback from behind and lastly, a shot that could have won it all.
Competitive. Hardworking. Accountable. Prideful. Tough. Invested. Selfless.
