Ball State Football gets whole offense involved in high-scoring loss

Ball State cruised into halftime with a 17-point lead behind an offense that scored points on four straight drives. However, Central Michigan put up 34 points in the second half on five rushing touchdowns, stunning the Cardinals, 45-44.

Ball State Soccer drops conference opener to Central Michigan

Ball State Soccer (6-3, 0-1 MAC) lost 1-0 to Central Michigan (4-0-2, 1-0 MAC) after Marle Bringard scored in the closing minutes of the first half. This is the first loss in the Cardinals’ Mid-American Conference opener since 2011.

Field hockey falls to Miami (Ohio) in overtime

In Ball State Field Hockey’s Mid-American Conference opener, the Cardinals (2-6, 0-1 MAC) fell to Miami (Ohio) (4-3, 1-0 MAC), 1-0, off of a corner shot from the RedHawks Noor Breedijk.
