When Mark Elliott first learned about the killing of Tyre Nichols, Elliott said he was here physically but mentally went to a different place. Nov. 8 is midterm elections for all counties, including Delaware County. When people gear up to go to the polls, they will be voting for several positions, and some of the top ones are in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, as well as the Indiana Secretary of State. It was May 24 when an armed gunman entered Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas and opened fire. Twenty-one people were killed, 19 of which were elementary students.
Kris Ball started writing when she was 6 years old — poetry, song lyrics, short stories.
