MUNCIE, IN ( NewsLink Indiana) - These unseasonably warm temperatures we've been experiencing this week can be expected to continue for the rest of the week. Today's high is 73 degrees with sunny skies. Friday we can expect some morning showers, and the weekend will be in the mid 50's with sunny skies. These temperatures are definitely warmer than years past, but haven't quite reached the record high for November 4th. Weather Forecaster Rachel Russell tells more in this mid day weather update.

MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- The Ball State Cardinals put an end to their home stretch this week as they hit the road on Thursday, heading to Western Michigan University. The weather for the day is looking to be mild, with temps in the upper 60s for much of the day, although we will be under mostly cloudy skies. A few isolated showers are possible throughout the game, but most of the rain and storms should not move in until the drive back home to Muncie. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Our unusually warm weather will continue this week, at least for the next couple of days. Temperatures in the 70s are expected for both Wednesday and Thursday, before a front will pass through the region dropping temperatures back into the 50s for the weekend. This system will bring widespread cloud cover starting on Thursday, followed by the chance for storms, some of which could be on the strong side, for late Thursday night and into the morning hours of Friday. These showers and storms are what usher in the colder weekend weather, which looks to stay in place through early next week, when the chance for rain again returns to the region. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) - Today is going to be another beautiful above and average day with temperatures in the 70s! Skies will remain clear and sunny with calm winds around 6 mph. Tonight, temperatures will cool to 51 with clear skies and the winds remaining calm. By Wednesday there will be cloud cover that will remain for the rest of the week. Temperatures should stay in the 70s until Friday. For Friday there is a 90% chance of rain, so don't forget those umbrellas. The rain will cool the temperatures into the 50s for this weekend and into early next week.

MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Good evening! We had a very warm day hitting the seventy mark for this second day in November. It looks like these warmer temperatures will be here to stay for a few days, until around Thursday. As we look towards the end of the week, our best chance for rain will be Friday. With this rain coming through, we will see normal cooler temperatures come back into the forecast. Muncie, IN (NewsLink, Indiana) -- Happy Monday everyone! Today our highs will reach into the 70's once again with our highs to make their way up to 70° and sunny skies to hang around through the remainder of the day. Tonight our lows will drop back down into the mid 40's coming in at 46°. Tuesday the sunny skies continue with high pressure building into the region. Our highs Tuesday will gradually make their way up to 71° with your overnight lows to dip down to 52°. Wednesday our high's remain in the 70's with a high of 73° expected during the afternoon hours with mostly sunny skies to be over the area. By Thursday night through Friday morning our chance for scattered thunderstorms increases and by your weekend our temperatures drop off pretty dramatically as cold air comes in from behind the low pressure system allowing our temperatures to get down into the lower 50's! MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Another cool, windy, and some what rainy weekend is in store for the Ball State Cardinals as the UMass Minutemen come to town this weekend. Mostly cloudy skies, with temperatures in the lower to mid-50s, are in store for this Saturday, with some breezy winds as well. Winds will be gusting up to 20 mph during the afternoon hours of Saturday. The temps will stay in the lower 50s for trick or treating on Saturday evening, with mostly cloudy skies and scattered rain showers staying around the region. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- This past week we have had frightening weather. We've seen rain, we've seen cold temperatures, but the upcoming 7 days will be on the up! As high pressure moves out of the area, a low pressure system that is haunting Texas with rain will start to creep into our area. Saturday will see cloudy skies with a high near 54 degrees. There is a chance for some rain in the afternoon and early evening hours so if you plan to head out to watch the Ball State Cardinals put in a FANGtastic performance against UMass and/or plan to enjoy some trick-or-treat festivities with the kids, you may want to carry an umbrella with you. Throughout Sunday we will reach a high near 62 degrees and see cloudy skies with the possibility of rain showers throughout the day, the best chance coming earlier in the day. The weather for the start of the week will have you doing the Monster Mash with temperatures near 67 degrees. On Tuesday we will see mostly sunny skies and a high of 70 degrees. Wednesday and Thursday we will see clouds start to make their way into our area with highs in the upper 60s.

MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- After two days of nearly constant rain, we are getting a short break from the precipitation. Today is going to be dry but chilly with the high only reaching 50 with wind gusts pushing 25 mph. Friday should be clear and beautiful with temperatures reaching the mid 50s. Halloween is going to be a wet day with a 50% chance of rain and wind expected near 20 mph throughout the duration of the football game, and during trick or treating hours as well. On Sunday we turn back the clocks at 2 AM but turn up the temperature with some early morning rain likely to clear out to a sunny afternoon with a high of 62. To begin the work week, temperatures will be above average in the mid-to-upper 60s for Monday and Tuesday. Our next chance of rain does not get here until later in the day on Wednesday with a high of 69.

We will finally be experiencing the remnants of Hurricane Patricia during today and tomorrow with rain showers and windy conditions. Today we will have a high of 56 and a low of 48. Throughout the day we will have light to moderate rain and expect heavier rain tonight. Winds will be from the Southeast around 10-15 mph. There could be wind gust up to 28 mph. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Rain seems to be the theme of this week's forecast. We do see this rain coming from the south as a result of Hurricane Patricia. Expect tonight's low to reach the low 40s and tomorrow's high should be in the high 50s. Rain chances do come in the forecast tomorrow morning and will continue to stay through Wednesday as well. Mostly cloudy skies on Thursday and sunny skies to start out the weekend on Friday. Rain chances continue for Halloween on Saturday and will stay throughout the beginning of next week. Muncie, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Happy Monday everyone! Today we will see mostly sunny skies here in East-Central Indiana with our highs to reach 62° this afternoon. Tonight our lows will dip down to 44° with our cloud cover increasing through the overnight. Our winds will be coming in from the East at 10 mph. Tomorrow our rain chances return with our highs to reach 56° and our overnight lows to get back down to 52°. Wednesday those rain chances hold on to us a little while longer as we are expected to receive as much as 1 to 2 inches of precipitation by Wednesday night with our highs to make their way to 62°. Thursday through Friday mostly sunny skies are back in your forecast but our highs only rebound into the lower to mid 50's. By Saturday our rain chances will come back with our highs to climb to 57°. For your Sunday we will roll our clocks back an hour with our highs to reach back into the lower 60's coming in at 61° but our rain chances will still be around through most of the day.

MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Overall, it has been an above average week in terms of temperatures around Muncie. But that is going to change here this weekend, and just in time for Family Weekend here at Ball State as well. Showers will begin to move in late tonight into the early morning hours of Saturday. That rain will stick around in the Muncie area throughout the duration of Saturday with a high of 73. Ball State also has a football game tomorrow with a 3 PM kickoff against the Central Michigan Chippewas at Scheumann Stadium. The kickoff temperature will be at 69 with clouds, showers, and winds from the southwest at 15-20 mph. The rain associated with the cold front will move out of the area Sunday late morning with skies clearing out later in the day, a high of 62. To begin the work week, sunny conditions for Monday and Tuesday with highs in the lower 60s both days. But as we get into the middle of the week, rain will once again come back on Wednesday night and will stick around for Thursday as well. Highs for Wednesday and Thursday will be in the lower 60s.
