Ball State Track competes at annual two-day “We Fly” event

Ball State Track and Field hosted its annual “We Fly” home meet Friday and Saturday. The event featured athletes from different participating Indiana and Illinois schools including Goshen, Purdue Fort Wayne, Bowling Green, Indiana Wesleyan, Taylor, Bethel and more.

Chasing standards: The balance of winning while embracing the process has been a key ingredient for Adrian Wheatley’s success

Moving forward, Adrian said he wants to emphasize the importance of a team-first mentality and hopes to create an atmosphere where the Cardinals respect one another and become a part of something bigger than themselves. Adrian believes there is a role for everybody in the program and wants his athletes to prosper in three phases.

PREVIEW: Ball State track and field splits up for Gina Relays and Southern Miss Open

This weekend, Ball State track and field will be competing in two separate meets. One is Hillsdale, Michigan, in the Gina Relays and the other meet is the Southern Miss Open in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The sprinters, hurdlers, and sophomore high jumper Regan Lewis will be going to the Southern Miss Open. The distance runners and field athletes will be going to the Gina Relays.
